We tasted Rieslings from Mosel/Germany. We started with that early youth classic, Zeller Schwartze Katz. Then we tasted six bottles. Two were Kabinett, two were Spatlese, and two were Auslese -- two each of the three degrees of QmP ripenesses (well, three Kabinett since one of the vineyards offered two products). Further, we only used two producers and two vineyards. This way, we could compare how the flavors and senses changed as the ripeness changed, and we could compare the style across two different vintners (to see how consisent each stayed as the ripeness varied).
