History

On 12/18/17, the 18th Amendment to the US Constitution, authorizing prohibition of alcohol, is approved by the US congress and sent to the states for ratification

What We Drank (Variations):

  • Everything will be the same except for the alcohol used. In one, Starr Blu Vodka, in the other, Wild Turkey American Honey.
  • Also used: Cinnamon Simple Syrup and a bitters concoction from what they could find around the house. This included The Holland House Cocktail Mix for Old Fashions (c. 1970), vanilla extract, cocoa nibs, and instead of roasted barley and molasses, a Barley malt!
